Expanded mental health services

The $632 million Campbelltown Hospital redevelopment will significantly expand mental health services and will provide the Macarthur community access to care closer to home in a world-class facility.

On completion and opening of the new clinical services building, Campbelltown Hospital will become a major hub for mental health care across the region and the community will benefit from:

  • A full range of mental health services for children and adolescents, young people, adults and older people
  • Mental health services integrated within a new state-of-the-art clinical building
  • Improved connectedness, safety and access to other key medical and support services
Mental Health services will be located in the new clinical services building over a number of levels, providing a variety of light-filled therapeutic spaces for consumers.

The clinical services building will include the following new mental health services:
  • Adolescent short stay
  • High dependency gender specific
  • Mental health intensive care
Two additional services will also open as part of the NSW Government’s $700 million State-wide Mental Health Infrastructure Program: Click here to find out more about the current mental health services at Campbelltown Hospital.
